Our Chamber of Commerce is comprised of local businesses
working together to strengthen the local economy,
promote the community and advocate the interests of
business.
We
have some exciting plans for the coming year including
workshops and a new full color business directory that
will be mailed to anyone requesting information about
Tonopah, Nevada.
The
Chamber of Commerce also sponsors Jim Butler Days every
Memorial Day weekend. There are lots of events,
including a mining competition and a street dance. It’s
a great time to celebrate our heritage as a Mining Boom
Town.
The
Chamber of Commerce is also actively seeking new
businesses for our town and would love to speak to
anyone interested in starting a business here. Our town
form of government removes a lot of red tape that a
company may encounter in a larger, city setting. We are
located in “the middle of everywhere”, midway between
Reno and Las Vegas, the perfect central location for
your business.
Tonopah was voted the darkest skies and best star gazing
in North America. We welcome you to the land of endless
stars and endless opportunities.
