Corporate sponsorship is always important for a
non-profit organization but it is even more important in
a small town in a rural area.
This Chamber of Commerce has been blessed in that when
we re-opened our doors this past January, the response
from the business owners and citizens in Tonopah and the
surrounding areas was overwhelming.
First and foremost, this website would not be a reality
today without all the hard work and donated services
from Teresa Madsen of Symphony Graphics. Her hard work
and perseverance have made this vision a reality and I
can never thank her enough. She is also responsible for
the majority of the ads, graphic designs, brochures and
programs that come out of this office. Teresa, you are
the true embodiment of volunteerism.
We also were very lucky to have made friends with two
more companies whose support is vital in the promotion
and growth of our small community, Awards Plus and P&J
Political and Media Consultants.
Thank you, Bonnie and Awards Plus for your generous
donation that will allow us to not only revise and
reprint our Travel Guide and Business Directory, but
will take it from a black & white format to full color.
We could not have done this without your generous
donation. Also, Awards Plus is responsible for most of
the printing for Jim Butler Days and has done a
wonderful job and always gives us a break. They have
made this “rebuilding” year much easier on us and we
appreciate it.
Last, but certainly not least, is the donation from
Peter Liakopoulos of P&J Political and Media
Consultants. Your donation of over $10,000 in free media
advertising on both radio station K-DWN and our first TV
coverage on Channel 41 has made a huge difference in
getting out of area exposure for our attractions and
events. Thank you, Peter, for caring about this Chamber
of Commerce and the Town of Tonopah.
We can always use more Corporate Sponsors to help with
funding for various projects and even general operating
expenses. Please call us for more information on adding
your name to this list.
